Angel Operations/ Project Team Leader/s

Job description (July 2023)

The ideal candidate/s will

have a strong interest in the NGO /NFP sector and be committed to strengthening our community mahi
support the organisation and efficiency of daily office and project operations; includes PA support, Operational Management, online communications
be systematic, well organised and efficient with good time-management skills but will be flexible and able to pivot quickly
be self-motivated and able to show initiative, innovation and resourcefulness
have excellent verbal and written communication skills
have a genuine interest in working with/for vulnerable youth

Hours & Location

up to 30 hrs p/week -flexible by arrangement
location Kerikeri Office- Bay of Islands. Majority on-site but some remote work possible

Responsibilities

Manage the daily operations and teams to ensure effective communication both internally and externally- including LGBTQIA+ rangatahi/whānau, mentors and mentees, Partner agencies and all community projects
Communicate effectively with youth, partners, sponsors, funders, volunteers and staff
Support the management of website, social media, Mailchimp
Complete multi-level tasks in a professional and timely manner

Qualifications

Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Ideally TEAMS, Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills-essential
Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work- essential
Proven experience record or relevant tertiary qualification- ideal but also open to training a young person if they have drive, commitment and relevant skills
The ability to pass a Police Check and a clean Drivers Licence-essential
