Community Garden (Te Roopu Huarahi Oranga)

Free plots are available to any group or whanau (family) wishing to grow healthy kai (food) with us. Generously granted land by a local businessman, we’ve been growing organically for 4 years now. All the produce from our Community Plots produce are distributed via our partners to families in need.

We also share our produce with Kindergartens and Foodbanks, and welcome school groups and clubs to experience edible gardening with us. We share plants with school garden projects, and enjoy generous local sponsorship of seedlings and organic fertilisers.

A joint project with Northland Corrections (Angel-Mates project) will help to develop our KaiEasy project, with fencing, gates, shed and small kids playground being established on site this year with the help of inmates and Corrections officers.

Thanks to Kerikeri Canvas & shades for our wonderful shade cover!

Sponsors contribute so much goodness!
