Kids helping Kids

Our friends at Auckland schools, Takapuna Grammar, Vauxhall Primary, and Diocesan Sacred Heart College have been sharing goodness with us for years now in the Coats4Kids campaign. Huge mihi to awesome Aucklanders for caring about your neighbours up in the Far North.

Closer to home, the incredible Parua Bay School community has just gathered an insane amount of amazingness for us to share. What a way to wind down our winter warmth projects!  When they said, “We’ve got some stuff for you”, we were delighted. But our friends at Hauora Haerenga in Whāngarei were knocked sideways when it all arrived at their place. They’ve been a lovely drop off spot for several campaigns and a box occasionally is ok-but a whole clinic room full was a wee bit much. Oops!
Luckily an angel called Amanda answered our Facebook call for help to move it up here to Kerikeri.

Warm kids sleep better and get to school, and socialise. Warm kids are healthier and happier.

And when we see children get invested in helping others less fortunate than themselves, we know the world is going to be ok.

Thanks to every single one of you who has helped us keep 1000s of vulnerable children warm.

We always need gumboots, slides, coats,  socks & underwear packs, plus wool for the knitting team. You can donate here if you’d like to help.
