Packing, wrapping and stacking

We asked for feedback from the kaimahi teams who came to help. These are the social services, health workers and iwi organisations who identify those in need and deliver the parcels. It’s really special when they come and help pack as well. Here are a few comments:

“I was motivated to help pack because I could see the real need in our community and the difference this support would make for whānau and tamariki.

Being part of the packing process felt like a practical way to show aroha, give back, and support a kaupapa that aligns strongly with my values.

It was important to me to contribute in a hands-on way and help ensure whānau felt supported and cared for.”

“I find the whole experience great, from communication to the support with parcel wrapping. The kai boxes are ready for us to load. It has been streamlined very well, and as long as we are there at our allotted time, everything goes extremely smoothly. Great mahi Bald Angels, and such amazing support for our whanau.

“I would like to say what a massive difference it makes to our whanau that receive these parcels at this time of year. Amazing mahi and support, thank you to all the Angel volunteers and The Bald Angels.”
