Over 900 warm coats were collected from Auckland Schools on June 28 2022. Literally a trailer load of goodness that will change a life this winter. This is part of our ‘Keep Our Kids Warm’ programme.
SHOUT OUTS to Vauxhall Primary School, Takapuna Grammar, Baradene College and Hotel Britomart who all generously donated so many amazing goodies!
The added bonus was listening to the taitamariki share their ‘why’ and feeling the wairua….so special. It truly gives us hope for the future with these taitamariki (children and young people) leading the way!
A warm coat will help a child get to school, learn, socialise and live life as all children should. It may not fix all the problems, but it WILL make a difference.
